Community Outreach and Education
SEKYBH conducts community outreach and education to raise awareness about mental health, reduce stigma, and connect individuals to resources. Through workshops, informational sessions, and partnerships with local organizations, they educate the public on mental health issues and promote accessible, supportive services for community well-being.
LCSW clinical supervision is a process where an experienced social worker guides and mentors clinicians, helping them build skills, ensure ethical practice, and meet licensing requirements. This supervision supports professional growth and effective client care.
A targeted case manager, also known as a case coordinator, works with individuals who need assistance managing their healthcare and social services. They assess clients’ needs, develop personalized plans, connect them to community resources, and provide ongoing support to help them reach their goals.
Internships
Southeast Kentucky Behavioral Health (SEKYBH) offers internships that provide hands-on experience in clinical and community settings. Interns learn from experienced clinicians, and gain skills in counseling, assessment, and outreach, community resources, preparing them for careers in the human service field.
