Welcome to SOUTHEAST KENTUCKY BEHAVIORAL HEALTH

Jessica Leverock, MEd., LPCA

Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counseling Associate who graduated from Lindsey Wilson College in May 2025. For more than 25 years, she has worked with children and families through education, early intervention, and mental health in different demographics and many capacities. Helping people has never felt like simply a career to Jessica—it is a calling and a big part of who she is.

Jessica has an especially big heart for the autism and neurodivergent community. She loves helping children, adults, and families understand the why behind what they experience. Whether someone is beginning an autism evaluation process, understanding a diagnosis, trying to better communicate and interact with their child, or has spent years wondering why the world seems to work differently for them, Jessica wants everyone to leave feeling more understood—not more labeled, confused or uncertain.

Jessica doesn’t see a diagnosis sitting across from her. She sees a person.

Her style is warm, genuine, compassionate, and sprinkled with humor—because life is hard enough without therapy feeling stiff, too. You don’t need the right words or a perfectly organized version of your story. Jessica will listen, encourage, advocate, celebrate the victories—especially the ones that may seem small to everyone else—and gently challenge you when growth calls for it.

Jessica’s Christian faith is at the heart of who she is and shapes the way she loves and serves others—with grace, compassion, hope, and the belief that every person has God-given worth and purpose. She warmly welcomes people of all backgrounds and respects each client’s individual beliefs and values.  We are all different and that needs to be celebrated.

Outside of the office, Jessica is a wife, foster parent, caregiver, and wholehearted memory-maker. She loves her family fiercely, turns up the music whenever possible, and believes baking something delicious can solve at least a small percentage of life’s problems.

Most of all, Jessica wants you to know: You don’t have to have it all figured out before you walk through her door. Just come as you are. I will meet you there—and then we can figure out the next part together.
