William Aaron Stevens, M.Ed., LPCC-S

William Aaron Stevens is a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor in Kentucky with more than 15 years of counseling experience. He provides therapy for individuals, couples, and families, with experience supporting children, adolescents, and adults through mental health concerns, substance use recovery, life transitions, relationship stress, trauma-related concerns, anxiety, depression, and emotional regulation challenges.

Aaron’s counseling approach is practical, compassionate, and collaborative. He draws from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavior Therapy, while tailoring care to each client’s needs, goals, and personal values. His professional background includes outpatient therapy, private practice, integrated behavioral health, residential substance use treatment, medication-assisted treatment programs, foster care services, clinical supervision, and rural mental health care. 

Aaron believes therapy should be a safe and respectful space where clients can be honest, feel understood, and work toward meaningful change at a pace that feels manageable. His goal is to help clients better understand themselves, strengthen coping skills, improve relationships, and move toward a healthier and more stable life.
