Southeast Kentucky Behavioral Health is collecting new or gently used winter items to help children and adults in our community stay warm this winter.

We need ALL sizes, from children through adults.

We are accepting:

🧥 Coats and jackets
🛏️ Blankets
🧢 Toboggans and winter hats
🧤 Gloves and mittens
🧣 Scarves
❄️ Other winter items that can help someone stay warm

If you have a coat hanging in the closet that no longer fits, a blanket you aren’t using, or other warm winter items, please consider giving them to someone who needs them.

A simple donation can make a real difference on a cold Kentucky day.

    🇺🇸 In Honor and Remembrance of September 11 🇺🇸

    Sabrina Henson and Kellyjo Falkowski, two members of Southeast Kentucky Behavioral Health team in London, Kentucky, had the honor of visiting several local first responder offices on this important day of remembrance.

    September 11 is a day to remember the innocent lives lost, honor the heroes who made the ultimate sacrifice, and recognize the courage and selflessness of first responders everywhere. We wanted to personally thank some of the brave men and women who serve and protect our local community each day.

    Although we wish we could do more to express our appreciation, we were honored to provide them with fresh donuts as a small token of our gratitude.

    To all first responders: Thank you for answering the call, running toward danger, and faithfully serving others. We see you, we appreciate you, and we are forever grateful for your service—not only today, but every day. A big Thank You to our amazing boss and supportive leader John S. Collier, MSW, LCSW S for making this day possible.

    🌳 SEKYBH Family Picnic 2026 🌳

    Today, Southeast Kentucky Behavioral Health gathered at Levi Jackson Wilderness Road Park for a wonderful day with our employees and their families. We enjoyed great food, played games, held a raffle, gave away prizes, shared plenty of laughter, and simply enjoyed spending time together outside of the workplace.

    We were also proud to collect a large amount of school supplies that will be donated to children throughout Laurel County. We are grateful to everyone who contributed and helped us continue our commitment to supporting the communities we serve. 🎒✏️📚

    Although not all of our employees and their families were able to attend, we had a great turnout. The weather was wonderful—but the company was even better.

    Southeast Kentucky Behavioral Health is more than a workplace. We are a team, a community, and, in many ways, a work family. Days like today remind us of the importance of taking time to connect, laugh, build relationships, and celebrate the people who make our organization what it is.

    Thank you to everyone who attended, brought food, donated school supplies, helped organize activities, and made today such a memorable event. I am already looking forward to more opportunities to gather and create memories with our SEKYBH work family! 💚🧡💙
